Unfortunately I have not been able to spend much time at Camp Kirkwood so far this summer but I did have an opportunity to go out yesterday. YMCA day campers were in the pool and there was a group working with “Y” counselors in the Dining Hall. Registrations are still low but expected to pick up as the summer rolls along. (Picture – Day campers in the pool.) Currently Jerome and a volunteer are working on the bath house in the Rustic Area – those who have not been to that area lately will not recognize the building! Roof repair continues on two Adirondack cabins and a leak has occurred in the water pipe serving the dining hall but other than that things are going well. Programs are scheduled for most weekends this summer and churches are encouraged to sign-up for retreats and church functions this fall. Simply call the Presbytery Office and ask Ann Locklear about available times. Look forward to seeing you there sometime this year!
